Alhaji Modibbo began his working career as a Commercial Officer in the then Gongola State Civil Service, and would later join the Gongola State Investment Company Limited where he rose to the rank of Senior Investment Executive. A 1983 graduate of Business Administration from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Alhaji Modibbo qualified as a Chartered Stockbroker in 1991 and was elected to the Council of The Nigerian Stock Exchange from 1993 to 1996. He is currently a member of the Investors Protection Fund (IPF) of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
Alhaji Modibbo founded Sigma Pensions Limited, and served as its Managing Director/Chief Executive from 1st February, 2011 to 31st October, 2016.
Mr. Adeyemi Odusanya is an Executive Director in charge of the Corporate Banking and South Directorate at Keystone Bank. In his budding career, he has made significant impact through varied roles in Strategic Business Units such as Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, Treasury and Financial Institution, Public sectors as well as Operations. Starting out as a young banker at GTBank 26 years ago, he worked his way up to the role of Head of Commercial Banking Group at Access Bank in 2000 where he spent a total of 15 years of his Banking career. After brief stints at UBA and Equitorial Trust Bank, he joined the Access Bank team in 1999 where he served as Head in various divisions including Commercial Banking, Public Sector & Treasury and Financial Institution Group. As a General Manager, he was a pioneer member of the Business Banking Division in 2013, crafting the 5-year strategy that is instrumental to the Strategic Business Unit’s success today.
He also served as a non-Executive Director (Access Bank, Zambia). He graduated with First Class Honors in Accounting at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 1990 and has attended several courses at world-class institutions including Lagos Business School, Wharton and Harvard Business School. Mr. Odusanya is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), an Honorable Fellow of the Institute of Bankers, Member of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and Fellow of the institute of Credit and Collection Management of Nigeria.
Mr Tijjani holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Bayero University, Kano and an MBA from the Bangor Business School, UK. His experience spans over two decades in both regulatory and top financial institutions in Nigeria. He is a member of various professional bodies and has attended various courses within and outside Nigeria including INSEAD Business School and the US Federal Reserve Bank in Washingto.
He is a consummate Risk professional and a member of Risk Managers Association of Nigeria (RIMAN), Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB, HCIB). His experience in the financial services sector covers operations, treasury, Banking Supervision, Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Risk Management. Until his elevation, he was the Chief Risk officer of Keystone Bank.
Mr Olaniran holds a First Class Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s Degree in Economics from the prestigious University of Lagos. He has attended several executive courses and programmes in Banking Operations, Credit, Risk Management, Business Process Re-engineering, Change Management amongst others.
He had a four-year stint with PricewaterhouseCoopers and 25 years banking experience covering Operations, Human Resources Management, Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Retail Banking and Institutional Banking.
Until his elevation, he was the Regional Head Corporate Bank and West, Keystone Bank Limited.
Mr Lawal holds an LL.B Degree from the University of Jos, and an LL.M Degree from University of Dundee, United Kingdom. He has over 19 years post-call experience that cuts across Legal Practice, Banking Regulation, Process Improvement, Conflict Resolution, Project Management and Regulatory Compliance.
He is a Fellow of the Compliance Institute of Nigeria (FCIN) and has attended top global educational and professional institutions including the London School of Economics (LSE), UNESCO-IHE, Institute for Water Management Delft; Netherlands, the Clingendael Institute for International Relation;, Den Haag, Netherlands, US Federal Reserve; Washington DC, USA and Financial Stability Institute of the Bank for International Settlements.
Until his elevation, he was the Chief Compliance Officer of Keystone Bank Limited.
A passionate business administrator and a rounded banking professional, Mrs. Adebiyi’s working career spans 25 years of unbroken experience in Habib Nigeria Bank Limited and its successor, Bank PHB Plc, where she functioned variously in Branch Operations; as Head of Administration and Human Resources; and as Head of the Foreign Exchange Department. She had worked previously with PZ Industries and the then National Bank of Nigeria.
Mrs. Adebiyi holds the Higher National Diploma in Business Administration from the Lagos State College of Science & Technology, as well as an MBA from the prestigious Lagos Business School. She had also attended numerous professional courses including General Banking (Pakistan) and Performance Management (INSEAD Singapore).
A pioneer member of the Board of Directors of Sigma Pensions Limited where she served for about a decade. Mrs. Adebiyi currently runs an investment company in Lagos and is the Proprietress of Lakeside Academy, Abuja, an international primary school.
Dr. B.B. Dan-Habu holds the Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) Degree of the University of Maiduguri, as well a Master of Laws (LL.M) Degree from the University of Lagos. He was admitted to the Nigerian Bar more than 30 years ago and has attended various courses at home and at Harvard Law School, and the Institute of Maritime Law, University of Southampton, UK.
Dr. B.B. Dan-Habu has a distinguished public service background. Between 1985 and 1986, he worked as State Counsel with the Benue State Ministry of Justice. He served as a member of the Ministerial Committee for the Review of Nigeria’s Mineral Laws and Regulations; between 2000 and 2001, he served on the Tribunal of Inquiry into the Civil Disturbances in Lagos State; and also participated in the Review and the Drafting of the Agreement between the Federal Government of Nigeria and Global Minerals on the Nigerian Minerals Appraisal Monetization Programme (NIMAPOP).
A registered Capital Market Solicitor and member of several professional bodies and associations (including the Nigerian Bar Association), Dr. B.B. Dan-Habu sits on the boards of several local and foreign companies. He is happily married.
