Yemi is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Data Protection Officer (DPO) at Keystone Bank Limited. He is a seasoned leader and team builder with over 26 years post qualification experience. He has over 25 years Banking experience in IT Infrastructure, IT Service Management, IT Governance, IT Operations, IT Program Management, Core Banking Applications, Information/Cyber Security, and Data Privacy/Protection.

He started his banking career in 1998 at Access Bank and rose to the position of Technology Application Head in 2005. Whilst at Access Bank, he led the implementation of the technology infrastructure of the Bank’s offshore subsidiaries in The Gambia, United Kingdom, Rwanda and Sierra Leone. In 2008, he moved to Keystone Bank as a Senior Manager and later became Chief Technology Officer (CTO), the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and subsequently the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

He has proven to consistently succeed in demanding situations. He successfully led the team that delivered the Bank’s IT refresh initiative covering eight critical technology domains during the Covid-19 outbreak. The job was accomplished with precision and efficiency despite the unprecedented circumstances of a nationwide lockdown.

Yemi graduated with a second class upper degree in Agric. Economics from the University of Ilorin in 1995, he has certifications in COBIT 5 (A), ITIL, PRINCE2. He is also a Certified Information Security Manager and an Honorary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers Nigeria (HCIB)
