  5. KEYSTONE BANK EMPOWERS SCHOOLS...

As part of our ongoing Keystone Bank Educational Support Initiative (KBESI), Keystone Bank Limited has stepped up efforts to integrate digital learning and smart technology into public schools by donating interactive whiteboards and automated attendance systems to four secondary schools in Ekiti State.

This initiative, which is part of a 12-state intervention project, is designed to bridge the digital divide in government-owned schools, enhancing student engagement and classroom management. The newly donated interactive boards will enable teachers to adopt a more visual, engaging, and interactive teaching approach, while the automated time attendance systems will streamline student records, improving administrative efficiency.

Speaking at the handover event, Mrs. Helen Maiyegun, Directorate Head for Lagos Island and West at Keystone Bank, emphasized the importance of technology in modern education:

“Through initiatives like this, we aim to empower students and educators with the tools they need to thrive in a technology-driven world. We are honoured to contribute to the transformation of the education sector in Ekiti and across Nigeria,”

The donation was warmly received by the Ekiti State Commissioner for Education, Dr. Olabimpe Aderiye, who expressed deep appreciation for Keystone Bank’s support. She highlighted that the intervention would enhance student-teacher interaction, improve lesson delivery, and create a more efficient learning environment.

Students and teachers were visibly excited about the new technology, expressing optimism about the transformative impact on their learning experiences. Keystone Bank Educational Support Initiative (KBESI), continues to expand, touching lives and reshaping classrooms across Nigeria.
